| Wiring my Supergun board to my Ipac4 - Help! |
| (1/1) |

Okay, so a slightly over dramatic title - but I'd really like to get this wired up tonight to give it a go! I think I know how to achieve what I want but don't want to go ahead and do it before getting confirmation from some people who really knows what they are doing! All I want to do is kill something! :-[ I have a Vogatek Mk.III Jamma Supergun - I want to wire this upto my Ipac4 (which is already linked up to a control panel for my PC/Xbox. My questions are as follows - Do I simply connect a wire between a button terminal on the supergun and the corresponding button terminal on the ipac4? Also, can you link more than 2 wires to one control terminal on the ipac4 or is that asking for trouble? Also, there is 2 grounds on the Vogatek supergun - would it be enough to simply have one wire from each going to the 2 ground terminals on the ipac4? As the control panel buttons are already daisy chained for the PC controls surely that is all I would need to do? Hope this all makes sense - I'd be really grateful if anyone can help me with this so I can get wiring asap! |

Ah, just had a look again, what exactly are the 3 terminals at the top of the supergun - Set, Test and Ground - and do they have to be wired up to anything? If so, what? :dunno |

Just tried it and unless I'm doing something wrong it doesn't work... Do I need to get a power source to the ipac4? |

Duh! Got this working - wired it upto player 2 controls rather than 1! ::) However, one query I have is (though, this might just be part of the game I was running) - when I move diagonally the directions lock up... mmm... |
