I'm going to funspot tomorrow, saturday 3/21 I'm bringing a high-res digital camera to take some detail shots of a few cab and I'd be happy to shoot whatever anyone needs while I'm there Here is a list of the cabs they have post soon though, I'm leaving at 1pm EST tomorrow |

Oh cool! I'm in the process of getting my basement fixed up, and would LOVE some shots of an arcade for reference! .. floors, walls, lighting would be most appreciated ;D BTW, I checked it out here: http://www.funspotnh.com/ ... and had a fit! Now I'm SUPER-jealous ;D |

Well it does not look like Funspot is best known for its magnificent retro arcade interiors. It's mostly cream walls and Chinese-restaurant tiled ceilings. Time Out had something funky: |

I'm not sure how feasible it will be but I'd love to see some shots of the back of a Donkey Kong. I'd also like to see how the bezel/monitor glass meets the rest of the cab and how the marquee sits in place. Whatever you can grab. I'm starting on my restoration TODAY! Man, I wish I could get up there one of these days... |

A high resolution shot of control panels specifically "wonder boy" with the jump/run button stickers and instruction cards. Ghost N' Goblins Button Stickers / Instruction card, and lift up the dust washer to reveal the joystick art underneath. Those A,B and airplanes / button stickers on 1943 might as well do the same with 1942 you can also browse this flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/azyxa/sets/72157594545269826/ see if you can sneak in a scanner and scan the sideart for circus charlie.. haha I know someone dying for a moppet scan of the leprechaun control panel.. you might miss it though kinda tiny cabinet, be sure not to step on it. Thanks! |
