Haha, yeah we dont sit in chairs in the backyard actually.

We set those (chairs given to us from years back) out to arrange in theory where different items will be on the deck we are going to have built soon. So its not really a chair per se, the one on its back is supposed to be a BBQ in our world of muppetland imagination.

I have been so busy on the pinball project that I have yet to put those back in the garage.........

They are still out there BTW

Waiting in the night.

Still.

Out.

There.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.  When I had my house built in 2005, we thought at the time we were going overboard on our deck but did it anyway.  Very glad we did.  I love my deck.  I have a grill, smoker, big patio table with 4 chairs and a side table with two chairs and it doesnt feel cramped at all.

Wait, weren't we supposed to be discussing pinballs?  I think you come on over to my house and provide me a "demonstration" on how to polish and wax a pin.....I'll pay you two shillings plus you get the satisfaction of educating a noob.

I got my manual on my Demo Man in the other day and Oh boy is that thing dangerous in my hands.  It gives me quite a false sense of self-confidence regarding my ability to be able to fix something when it breaks......

pinballwizard79:
We thought 15*25 would be acceptable for the deck.

Its going to be a little while before that check gets written though. Next month the entire lot is being completely stripped of the grass, then totally regraded with skid loaders & etc.....then a tandem or two of top soil added & then sod for all the way around (front/back/sides) + new landscaping up front.

Then deck, then patio, then back yard lighting/landscape & then probably bankruptcy or a HELOC.....in that order  ;D

Flake when the manual starts to make sense you are officially dangerous, most of my fixes are from breaks I did myself when fixing something else I broke when fixing something else I broke when all I first started doing was adjusting something...........know what I mean?

BTW What is the conversion rate of a Shilling to USD?

PBJ will you pay for the other half of the deck you advised me to up size to please,?

Flake:
Oh for God's sake man!  That is going to be expensive?  Make sure you water the grass this time so it doesnt die on you since your paying for all that sod.

Or better yet get a sprinkler system.  Think of it as safe guarding your investment.

I have a long way to go before I understand the circuitry and diagnostics of the pin but I was amazed to find out how well the manual was laid out.  I even ran a "claw test" on the cryo claw and turned on the vulgar language - although I dont think I have the swear rom - some foul language just shows up on the DMD.  You probably laugh thinking this is elementary but I've never cycled through a pin menu before  8)

Nice, I really like drinking & seeing/hearing profanity.

Seriously!

I want to get a LW3 pinball & make Leo say "They always ---fudgesicle--- you at the drive through" every time the ball hits an outlane.

Posted something about it once before & heard its impossible.

Then I found this info a guy did to his DE WWF (again I am quoting him verbatium):

"Got myself an EPROM programmer and went ahead and it turned out much easier than I expected.  It turns out that anyone who's proficient at sound editing and has good sound editing software can modify the sounds of any Data East / Sega / Stern (modern up to but not including LOTR)!  The large sound roms are actually PCM sound files.  The sound is recorded as an 8-bit signed, mono,  8Khz file.   The samples are back to back on the file.  Just find the sound you want to change and replace it with a sound that's EXACTLY the same length (down to 1/1000th of a sec..).  Try out your modified sound files on VPinMAME before burning an EPROM.  "

Rather than try it myself I think maybe just try "paypaling" the dude some $$$$ will be better

5th one down, of course its NSFW you idiots that click on links regarding profanity: http://henancius.martin-scorsese.net/pesci/jplw2.html
