I know they really should, but considering we have this and the wimote (which I hate) for 64. Where is smog when we need him ;D

Derrick Renaud:

They might not want to pay MS for the driver signing.  In that case they should be made aware of this method for bypassing it.

Download dseo12.exe from here.
http://www.ngohq.com/news/15043-how-to-increase-usb-sample-rate-in-windows-vista-sp1.html

Run it and put Vista64 in test mode.  Restart computer.  Install drivers.  Use dseo12 to sign the driver that is in the system32\drivers directory.  Restart computer again, and presto.  No driver signing to pay for.  Not the best solution, but cheap.

Then to get rid of the onscreen Test Mode text, just use:

ok! So part one, they make an unsigned driver. The only problem I see would be that a manufacturer would not be able to legally do that without having some sort of license to make developer drivers right? So that part would be done, now how do we get the rest?

bigster:

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but I have a quick question.  I downloaded the 64 bit beta driver and I could not get it to install.  If you look at HKems' forum, there is a poster on the site that got the driver to work via a modification.  The user stated:

--- Quote ---I was able to make the driver work. I think the primary reason there were issues with it were due to the "vendor" not reflecting Xamd64... after a minor mod to the INF it installed and i am able to get to the calibration functions.

--- End quote ---

Anyone know what he is talking about with the modification to the inf file?  I am pretty sure that the poster on the ems forum (who was unanimous) was actually a BOYC user.

TheSlim:

Sorry to bring up an old thread.  Here is an updated INF i rewrote.  I hope that you find it helpful.  You should be able to install the topguns on windows xp 64 bit with no problems.  gooooooood luck.
