Pronounced TRaSh 80 for those who've never used one. I learned BASIC on a mighty dual floppy black and white trash 80, then smoked a dime bag, listened to Dio and forgot all of it except what the computer was. ;D |

It was so retro that it even had wood-grain panels on the sides. It had a cassette drive, so when loading programs you would sit there for 15 minutes with your fingers crossed, hoping that some bit a static glitch wouldn't creep into the load and cause a checksum error .... It is still in a cupboard somewhere! |

I did PC support for Tandy for a few years many moons ago, we got to meet the guy who originally designed the TRS-80. :laugh2: |
