| High score saves in classic arcades? |
| (1/1) |
| Lecithin:
Has anyone come up with a way (a magical chip from my fantasy world?) to get old arcade games to save high scores upon power down (damn you volatile memory!)? I've got a few arcades that I love to push the high scores but they just disappear when I turn em off :( I know its probably been asked 4,000 times but a man can dream can't he? I've got a double dragon and vs super mario that mock me each time I turn them off :( |

I don't know of kits for either of those games, but there are for a number of others. http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Restoration (scroll down to Game Enhancements) |

List the games you have. |

If all else fails, you can hang a chalkboard  Barcade in Brooklyn never made this idea look better, especially since you need a ladder to change any of the scores. I'm totally on the prowl for one now |

I've got a dry erase board next to my cab, and another near the dart board. |
