Paint wico 4" ball top??

Anyone know a good way to paint these, I got em from a guy previously mentioned who paints em and I wanna try to make one look a little more like the Happ's pushbuttons...

Yeah I was looking at that post and I am not sure which primer to get (looked at website)....so many kinds.
And for the clear coats and color coats does it matter what type/brand?

I bought the primer at HomeDepot, I think it was Kilz in a spray can.  It definitely had a red/white label, that much I do remember.

Nothing fancy on the paints, just Rust-Oleum.  The fluorescent green paint was a perfect match for the Happ green buttons.
