Bender:
I don't see any reason why not. it's made to just that in windows
It's not even listed as mac compatible and it worked right out of the box

Though I don't have the air remote I have had a gyration mouse for years now, and I just wanted to recommend a free program that I use with it. It's called StrokeIt (don't laugh... well OK laugh) When used in conjunction with a program such as Sound Volume hotkeys you can use it to control the volume of your PC. Stokeit has programed gestures for various programs such as Winamp. Works great for me. It is more versatile than the program that comes with the Gyration mouse. One question I have regarding the air remote. Will it let you power on the PC?

Edit.... you should also be able to play some light gun games with it.

Ok... Wait... :laugh2:
So yeah, the remote seems like it would handle all the features then of the mouse and more.
I just think it would be awesome to have a remote to control the volume of my cab when I am using it both for video games as well as a juke box. My main concern was even though my PC has media center on it as part of vista 64, I don't use it. I just want the remote to control programs like Winamp and just plain ol' volume levels in general. Seems like from what you guys are saying here, it should handle that pretty well.

I don't think there would be a better fit for what you want to do out there. I did want to add one thing about the Gyration products in general. If you compare them to a Wii remote, they are much more accurate with pointing (using it as a mouse) They really have the technology down pat.
