| what is a 6 digit counter for? |

I saw one inside of a Golden Tee that I parted out. Is it used for counting coins? I didn't remove it from the cab because it was full of old, dried-up Pepsi. |

To ensure perhaps that the software's dip screen coin count matches the dials. I suppose in case machines have been set overpriced or if free play has been used when it shouldn't be. |
