looks like eCost has some $299 refurb HP Pavillions (Athalon 1800's) here http://www.ecost.com/ecost/shop/detail.asp?DPNo=152392 for those looking for cheap machines. I'm sure you can find even cheaper out there if you look hard. |

I didn't post a link because I was sharing information based on what is happening at intel factories...there is a huge push on ramping up these older chips over the next few weeks. no it's not refurbs, they are new. I just noticed alot of people here lookin to buy computers fairly soon, and thought I would share what is going on, if no one cares...so be it, just something people can keep in mind. |
