Not only do I get advice from the Almighty Ond, I also get advertisements in his threads by other Members.

+1,000

Maybe I need to throw down the gauntlet.  (No pun intended.  Ok, maybe.)

"I, the guy building the Doom 3 inspired arcade cabinet, do hereby lay down the challenge to Ond (heretofore referred to as "The Almighty Ond") to see who can provide the community with the greatest frequency of physical updates, to be judged by the community as a whole."  (I put that last in there because I like to post daily about stuff I plan to do, and that - obviously - would not count as an update.)

 ;) :) ;D

@Rick - No contest, you will win hands down, well, for the time being anyhow.

LOL.  More of my attempt to goad you out of retirement, that's all.  (I'm slower than most when it comes to progress, I think.  I'm sure once you get back into the swing, you'll outdistance me easily - your experience definitely gives you an edge.)

Welcome back!  Watching intently.

I resist posting in my own thread without having made progress on my cab
Ya' see, this is why I like following your posts Ond -- all killer, no filler.
Unlike other posts on this forum I've avoided because the OP's decided to hum & haw about their projects, ad nauseum. Or running up their post counts like they're working on an unlocked achievement or something.  :-\

Usually when I see you've posted, I anticipate it's going to be a great one.

Take your time man, a masterpiece cannot be rushed!

Ond, glad to hear all the really important stuff in your life is ok.  Cars can be replaced but family can't.  RL (Real Life) stuff gets in the way of everyone's cab building.  There is no shame in not having time to do anything on the cab for several months, that's just the way it goes sometimes.

With that that going on with the paint job, people are going to expect to see a big block V8 with holleys in there when you open the lid  :)
