I'm alive, things have just been slow while I've been on vacation. I'm waiting on a getting a high-res (900 dpi) scan of the characters on the CPO. I'm not a big fan of how a few of them were auto-vectorized, and I would like to redo them. I'm doing my best to keep as many of the fine details as possible. |

UPDATE!!! I'm still waiting on high-res scans of the CPO characters, so I moved on to the bezel. I re-scanned, traced, and colored most of the characters. I'm having a real ---smurfette--- of a time getting a perfectly straight scan because I'm using a wand scanner. It doesn't really matter for the art, but it's a big problem with text. I'm trying to figure out the font of the character cards so I can just reproduce the test rather than vectorize it. Here is what I have done so far. (Dazzler's text is vectorized original text) |

I know that you are going for accuracy, but if you get it close enough, I doubt that anyone would care if you used Calibri instead of vectorizing the original and using that. |

Small update: I was able to get my hands on a flat scanner, so I'll be able to re-scan the bezel art and get the text looking nice and pretty. |
