Vinyl Vs. Paint

Did you guys just add two new categories ?

From my POV, it depends on the cabinet and on how lazy/motivated you are.

Rolled vinyl adhensive, like Happ offers:



is nice (I use it for CPs), but you need to clean the underlying surface up pretty decently first.

Same deal with paint and a slightly lesser deal with laminates/formica (although there you need a router to cut things).

BUT, since you are a student trying to save money, presumably without many tools, the obvious answer for what you should choose is paint.

i tasted the lead paint about a 1/4 a tub it was kinda salty

If you can afford and find it I think laminate is the best way to go!

It's extremely durable, it looks great, and it really adds that extra touch to a cab.

Unfortunately it's hard to find (usually you have to special order it) and if you do find it it's pretty expensive (I was quoted $80 per sheet and would have need three sheets).
