| Vinyl Vs. Paint |

Did you guys just add two new categories ? From my POV, it depends on the cabinet and on how lazy/motivated you are. Rolled vinyl adhensive, like Happ offers: is nice (I use it for CPs), but you need to clean the underlying surface up pretty decently first. Same deal with paint and a slightly lesser deal with laminates/formica (although there you need a router to cut things). BUT, since you are a student trying to save money, presumably without many tools, the obvious answer for what you should choose is paint. |

If you can afford and find it I think laminate is the best way to go! It's extremely durable, it looks great, and it really adds that extra touch to a cab. Unfortunately it's hard to find (usually you have to special order it) and if you do find it it's pretty expensive (I was quoted $80 per sheet and would have need three sheets). |
