Surface Tension on G4 TV congrats guys

Love st's stuff. The first-gen cabinet/table was great as I liked the angled control panel and was a little cheaper in the UK. The next-gen shown here may be a little more pricey, but look at the craftmanship and the contemporary styling; it sure is a looker! I don't think the price is excessive as for the demographic this is aimed at, the price is better than others of this build quality like the Apex machine, which runs at over £3000.

Sorry, I was kidding about the PM. Thanks Brent. I mustn't have logged in for those couple of days... it's my own fault!

Thanks Craig. The first one was much different, so it comes down to personal preference. The current horizontal control panel gives much better playability... especially on trackball games. I addressed all the issues and feedback from previous iteration ...but you can NEVER please everybody.

The black, hi-gloss version will be at Insert Coin 09 in the flesh for anyone to have a go. I'll make sure the missus is around for back massage incase anyone is worried ;)

Franco, no offense taken. You have your opinion and that's fine by me. From the outside it always looks more straight forward. If I'd implemented all the (sensible) suggestions from that thread, we'd be looking at a £5000 item and another 6-12 months to get it out in the wild.

The coat hooks are now in production, yes. They are selling well. Everyone wants red balltops!

Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you UK members at IC'09.

Cool, will see you there!  :)

I would love to have a propper look at it in the flesh.

I can sense a bad back coming on regardless  ;)
