i have a Sony 2950Q monitor. 29 inch screen, 27 inch viewable that I was going to use for an arcade project. Unfortunately I do not have the room for a full size cab in my basement anymore. So I am rethinking my design and this monitor has to go. It has an incredible picture! I tested it out just running 640x480 interlaced out to it via a VGA d-sub breakout cable to RGB and the picture looked fantastic. This monitor is capable of displaying 15khz although I never tried it as I don't have an ArcadeVGA card. Its a solid monitor in a cube body with handles. $100. I will include the breakout cable. Everything you need to hook up to your computer sans ArcadeVGA or Powerstrip. Local pickup only. The monitor is currently at my work which is located just outside of Lancaster, PA.

I also have an X-Arcade Trackball for sale. I was planning on gutting the parts for my cab. Since I am going with a smaller design, I have no room for a 3" trackball. Looking for 45 shipped or BO. These typically sell for 50 bucks plus 10 dollars shipping (when they are on sale).

Any questions, please PM me.

Thanks,
Bill

If it was reasonable, I would. But you would need to crate this thing up and send it freight. Cheaper to just drive and pick it up.

For SNAAKE: This monitor doesn't appear capable of VGA.  Just 480i.

Yea its not true VGA. It will run all of the 15 khz arcade resolutions though. The only reason you would want to run VGA is computer games, right? You can run a desktop on 480i. The only complaint I have is the text is a little buzzy at 480i.

Monitor price drop to 100 includes breakout cable...the lowest I will go. Here is a photo. Top is a bit dusty as it has been sitting in a loft at work for a few weeks. Anyone is welcome to come by and check it out. Also has a audio preamp built in. Haven't test it out though. Should still work.

Will keep the trackball listed as I am lazy and don't feel like forking out epay fees.

Hi Bill,

I appologize for resurrecting a decade old post.  However I do not see that you ever sold the trackball.  Total shot in the dark.  Do you still have it for sale?  Thank you.

I would have messaged you directly, but the message board is not allowing me that option.

You want to buy a trackball listed 9 years ago from a member who hasnt signed in for a year and a half?

Am I reading that right?

Yes.  Chasing down all leads.  Never hurts to ask.  Nothing ventured, nothing gained.  Searching for a forgotten "barn" find.  If you can help with the search, please do!  Thank you.

And now that the registration is done for me I was able to leave a PM as I would have preferred.   Just in case he returns and he just happens to still have it gathering dust.

Feel free to PM me anything additional.  Let's let this post go back to sleep.

Necro bumps are funny.  What's even more hilarious is expecting to buy an item from 9 years ago, at the price listed.  Even if he still had this item, odds are he's not going to sell it at the price listed from those days.

You might as well save yourself the hassle of trying to track this guy down, and just buy it from current sources (there are plenty of vendors that carry trackballs).

But hey, ridiculing necro-bumpers is still fun.  :lol

Your knowledgeable help would be greatly appreciated.  Please share your list of multiple vendors that still offer the x-arcade trackball.  Thank you so very much in advance.

Now that's funny.  I use the "Google is your friend" phrase all the time.

The search you provided lead me to all the same parts links I've been too.  I am searching for a complete unit.  I am hoping you saw something I did not.  Odds are it will come down to building one.  But their discontinued product is perfect for my needs.  Thank you for your help and time.
