Any Battlestar Galatica (new) fans out there?

orion:
My wife and I were talking about this this morning as we are looking forward to watching the new episode tonight. I have a new theory (speculation) about what might be going on. If we look at what we know, we know that Starbuck was somehow resurrected. We also know that her viper was "resurrected". Cylons don't resurrect ships (or non "skinjob" cylons for that matter)which means someone built her viper.... someone is still out there. So whatever Starbuck was I think it is safe to assume that she is all Cylon now. In the flashback sequences that Ty and the Chief had I noticed that all the ancient Cylons were different... no two were alike. My theory is that at some point in time the ancient Cylons were actually human.... (classic cheat death cyborg plot) which would explain a lot about the behavior of the 5. Just my theory.... until this evening of course  :)

I have a theory that is shared by my friends that Starbuck is a "Being of Light" one of the concepts that was touched on in the original series that has yet to be looked at here...

In "Scar", didn't Athena say that they do resurrect raiders as it was much more efficient than having to spend months training nuggets ?

Oh yea, that's right. Now that you said that, I remember that's the episode in which Starbuck was dealing with a particularly angry raider... one that had been resurrected may times and was not happy about it. I still think she's been resurrected as a Cylon though, and I still think that the ancient ones were at one point human. I mean it makes sense to me, but that is one of the coolest things about this show... all the plot twists and curve balls. Lots of "I didn't see that one coming!"

Hoopz:
Lots of making it up as they go along too...   :banghead:

I'm voting for not a cylon.  Seems like that's what they want us to think so when they decide what the deal is, it'll be a shock to us.
