It's a PS/2 cable, but it's male at both ends so a regular extension cable won't work. Where can I get one? --- End quote --- Any big computer parts store should have them. I see 'em at Fry's right next to the extension cables. Radio Shack might have them, if it's a big store. But IIRC, RS sells extension cords for $12, and if the M/M PS/2 cord is the same price, it's cheaper to go through www.ultimarc.com. *shrug* Try a computer parts store first though. The partyou want is usually called "M/M PS/2 cord" or "PS/2 cord, Male-to-Male" or something like that. |

I don't live in a major metro area. The largest computer shop we have is CompUSA, and they don't have it. |

you could get one off of a KVM switch cable... some of the cheaper ones don't have the video, mouse, and keyboard cables moulded together... also make sure you buy the correct one (i.e. m/m, m/f) |

Find 2 busted keyboad and rip the cords out of them and put it together. Thats the cheapest way. |

The mouse's port isn't functioning. Great idea. I'll see what I can do. Typically, though, wouldn't those cables be likw $15 or $20 anyways? |
