I've been trying to train him to say Galaga correctly for the last year. He's getting better, but there's definitely some twang still in there. I've lived in the Illinois/Wisconsin/Iowa triangle my entire life with the majority in Illinois. I guess you would say I have the flat accent of a central Ill person. Any time we visit my gramma in Kentucky, I find it hard to not pick up the accent a little bit. It is in my blood after all... |
