Tie what into Lost?

Since you mentioned it though, Chuck has had several nods to Lost hidden in the show. I've seen 2 Oceanic airlines bits.

Cheap crap like that angers me when watching the show. How many times must they build something up only to make it meaningless IMMEDIATELY?!?

I'm not even going to start on how much they mess up the time travel stuff. The past almost never affects the future on that show.

I just scrolled to the bottom of the thread, but let me say that this show has jumped the shark.  The writers have no clue what they're doing.  The finale was horrible.  All the new characters they've added are horrible.  The taking away of powers was horrible.  Now saying that the kids of the original people with powers were injected to get their powers is horrible.

Horrible, horrible, horrible.

I missed the solar eclipse episode. How the hell did they explain that one away? They get their power from a yellow sun? They just got done explaining their powers are sourced from a gland inside their brain. Hence why Sylar is always cutting their noggins open to steal their powers.

--- Quote ---The serum just reactivated his genes or whatever.  He never had to touch anyone, just be in their proximity.

See above.

--- Quote ---Mohinder should keep his powers.  The serum kind of washed away his lesions, so it was like he took it.  Unless it's only a physical temporary thing.
--- End quote ---

From the looks of it, it's only temporary.. or the lesions are no longer part of the problem?

--- Quote from: hyiu on December 18, 2008, 07:37:25 am ---that soldier who got super power.... he's suppose to be a soldier who went thru war and stuffs and not afraid... but got snapped like a toothpick by that guy.... why bother ??
if he's so strong, should his neck be harder to snap ??
also, if he's not afraid, should that guy not have super strength over him ??

--- End quote ---

That was just downright stupid. The only thing I can think of is that someone screwed up and gave a fresh out of boot camp private super powers instead of an experienced war grognard. If he's standing there with a lame line with his back to an unsecured door, he deserved to have his neck snapped. Powers or no.

--- Quote ---and running back in time to bring Hire back... that's a little too much....

I got the impression the writers wrote themselves into a corner on that one. They put Hiro in the past with no obvious way to get back. They really should have left his ass there for a few more episodes. Might have made some interesting dialogue with his father. It was pretty well established that a lot is supposed to hinge around Hiro.

Rumors keep popping up that Heroes and Lost are in the same "universe" (or "reality"--call it what you want) and that they would drop a hint soon that ties the two.
