A PC knows what monitor is connected to it by the E....um, something standard. Basically, it's a display communication standard between monitors and PCs for various reasons. I wonder if there's something in your bios settings that can be disabled or altered. |

I wonder if there's something in your bios settings that can be disabled or altered. --- End quote --- PC knows squat if power cord to the monitor is unpluged, yet it will not boot without monitor cord plugged in to the pc = like NickG said must be something in the monitor cable itself. I checked BIOS priorhand and indeed there was some option regarding tv or some kind of external video input, but it didn't do anything. |
