New coin mech rejecting tokens
CGRemakes:
Long time since I've visited the forums. I recently purchased some Happ 42-3053-00 mechs and some Pachislo tokens. Problem I'm having is that the mech rejects the coins every time. The mechs and coins are brand new, so I'm not sure why they don't work. Here are some pictures of the mech I have:
The tokens land in the cradle (marked in red), and rotate, but then get dumped out on the reject side marked in green (on the back half of the reject side, not the side where coins deposit when pressing the reject button). It appears the size is valid, but is it possible the weight is off? I thought 984 tokens were pretty standard. Any ideas?
Ken Layton:
Do you indeed have .984 sized tokens?
Is the token mech level? It will not work if not level in all directions.

They are ever so slightly larger in diameter than a quarter, but under 1". They are supposed to be standard "Pachislo" slot tokens. Are there any other sizes that fit this description? I've tried the mech both in the door and out, making sure it was flat, and it doesn't work.

Some of the new ones you have to put a example token in the mech somewhere so it knows what to accept. Not sure about how to do it but I have heard about it. Also try other coins and token to see if the shipped the wrong one.

You're probably thinking of a coin comparator, or something similar. This particular mech isn't electronic at all, it just uses gravity and physics to validate the coin. Yeah, I'm trying to think of somewhere I can get other tokens to compare them to, but the only place I can think of is Chucky Cheese. I'm almost positive they use .984 tokens.
