Future Pinball: http://www.futurepinball.com/
Visual Pinball: http://www.randydavis.com/vp/intro.htm
PinMame: http://pinmame.retrogames.com/

Future Pinball works on its own.

Visual Pinball and PinMame work together. Visual Pinball emulates the tables and PinMame emulates the score boards/ displays.

Let me know if you have any questions getting them sat up.  ;)

So I downloaded Future pinball last night and their free SciFi table and was wondering how do you get the emulator to show your score?  There isnt a table view option to fully show the backbox and the emulator doesnt have any other window showing your score.  Pinball is all about points so if it doesnt show points that kinda stinks.  I must be missing something.  Anyway, I dont want to highjack  your thread so if can help maybe just PM me or if you reply here I'll leave it at your reply.

Thanks

I am 100% it shows the score so I think you are missing something or maybe for some reason that table does not have that feature. I don't have Future Pinball installed here on my work PC but I would be more than happy to get back to you tonight or this weekend from my home system.

In the meantime check out the Metal Slug Future Pinball Game and if you look, you can see that it does display your score and I also know it tracks hi scores as well.

Flake:
Yea I'm not getting that top score screen although I can clearly see the insert coin, start game at the top before I hit start.  Once I hit start though it disappears.  Maybe the free Scifi doesnt have this setup.

The only other thing I could say is maybe you could take a print screen of your video options preferences screen.  Maybe I havent "checked" the right box or something.

Thanks

Did you design that table?  Pretty cool.

Ok, I did some checking and the game you speak of has score keeping but cannot been seen when you are playing the game it seems. Other tables like Metal Slug are designed better so this feature can be viewed when playing the game, as shown in the video above. I'd say give a few other tables a try before passing judgment overall.

I did not design the Metal Slug table.

Here is another hint that I am sure you figured out already but once the tables are loaded, if you press F1 through F8 (I think it is) you can play the table at different angles.

Flake:
OK yea I confirmed the Scifi just doesnt display video.  I was able to find two other tables that do show the score so no problems there.  I discovered the different viewing angles in the video preferences screen.

My only other question I guess is where do you find all these different tables?  I ran across the other two I downloaded but no others as of yet.  Is there one good site or just a bunch of different sites with a few each?

Any way, I like it regardless so thanks for the link.

The full set of tables is about 7 and 1/2 gigs. Do you download torrent files at all?  ;)

Check your PM's.
