Gee, I hope you didn't think I was telling you that you shouldn't be posting here; this is the perfect place to post it!!! What I was getting at was that you should post it on it's own website as well as here in honour of the quality of your build information. Again, well done!

It seems a bit wasteful to be using x10 stuff for controlling things which are in the same cabinet.

Did you not want to use relays off the computer for some reason? I guess the 110 volt x10 gear is cheap enough that its not a huge cost (ever seen what 230v ones cost? - not pretty) but the delays and frequent failure of x10 to get thru would have me worried that it would either not rotate or it would start to do it in the middle of the night etc.
