Radiant Silvergun (OH how I wish I could play it)
BASS!:
It runs like butter on my e8400. Have you tweaked with your display settings to get a bit more horsepower out of your mame. I know there are tons of tips that I have used in the 4ghz mame thread.

... um, no. What settings should I adjust, and where?
BTW, I tried to have MAMEwah generate a custom .ini, as described by Ginsu Victim, but no luck. The newly created ini stays blank .. thanks for your replys .. I'll keep at it :)
Ginsu Victim:
Hmm, maybe that isn't one of the things that autofills. I have several games with INIs at home, but I've been copying, pasting, then editing them.
The wiki has the info you need.

Thank you again .. I'm closer, but even after reading the wiki like 10 times, i just don't understand ???
I have MAME 0.128, and have been playing this game from the command prompt to test it out (MUCH better in this version), but I don't know what to type in the "rsgun.ini" file ...
My path would be c:\mame128\mame rsgun .. I think .. i typed this in the ini, but it still loads the mame 0.110 version.
Ginsu Victim:
There should be a folder called GAMES in the mame folder. Place your INI in there.
pre_emulator_app_commandlines [nothing required here, unless you load U360 maps, etc]
emulator_commandline c:\mame128\mame.exe rsgun {nodosbox}{safelaunch}
post_emulator_app_commandlines [load u360 map, etc on exit]
When I'm able to look at my own INIs at home, I can give you a better answer.
