X-Arcade and Y-Mouse. Why Ghosting / Jamming?
« on: December 05, 2008, 03:50:03 pm »
Ive been away from the project for close to a year and now i'm diving back in and have run into a new problem...

I purchased a Dual stick X-arcade for use with my Cab that is power by my laptop. There are no PS/2 ports so i went ahead and bought the Y-Mouse. For whatever reason I can still only press 6 keys at once and occasionally i get the key stuck deal where im stuck running left or ducking down (street fighter).

I don't understand how this is happening cause i thought this was only a problem that certain keyboards have becuase of the circuitry. Why would my X-arcade have this problem? Is it because of the laptop keyboard? Do I need to update a driver? Will it help if I Plug another keyboard into the-arcade?

Thx all!

What's this "Y-mouse"?  If it's a standard ps/2 to USB adapter, this is where the limit is.  If it's a special thing by x-arcade...

X-Arcade recommended that you either get thier Ps/2 adaptor or you could purchase this Y-mouse. I had a boner to get it done so i bought that instead of ordering online.

Link?  Photo?  Different name?  I didn't find anything on it at their site, and don't have one myself.

Maybe someone with one will be able to help more.
