Best ratchet Crimping tool?

Hello everyone,

After wiring two quad panels (and getting ready for a third) I think it's time for me to upgrade to a ratchet crimping tool.  I just can't take my hand hurting for days after I wire up a panel anymore.   ;)

Shopping around, I found this:

What do you guys think?  Is there a better one out there that people recommend?  I don't want to spend more than $50 including tax and shipping.

Thanks!

This is better for open-barrel quick disconnects:

It will hold the connectors better and it will start the crimp with less of a tendency to spin the connectors than that other one.

Ah, I missed that one!  Thanks!  I just ordered it.  I can't wait!

Thanks!

I could be wrong about this but the crimper with the colors on  the die are made for insulation around the crimp area of the barrel and the other one is actually made to crimp the bare barrels but a crimper like those will give your terminals that factory professional look.

Good Luck

Nope! you are correct all the way, both are made for entirely different types.   This is where I cheat;  I use a cheap pair of adjustable vice grips for the insulated type.  (which of course looks entirely un-professional  >:D )
