Making motherboard boot as soon power is present?

I thought people just got a longer set of wires that instead went to a button somewhere on the cab or panel.

Well, it didn't work for me....

The cap didn't boot the mobo.

Did anything happen at all?

What size cap did you use?

Hi!

Nothing at all happened...I used a 4.7uF 50V cap. While it was on I still had
to short the cap's legs with a screwdriver..and then it booted:)
