http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=85671.msg898854#msg898854

its mountains idea, and i am building this setup.

its almost done.

the subwoofer in in its own 1,8cm box, flush with the outside speaker grill.

haven't closed the back up, i don't know if this is necessary because the bass reflex pipe and woofer both put out its audio to the back

Yeah I already read over all that, even asked some questions there.

From what I have read there, that guy is saying to vent both the port and the sub. I guess that is what you are doing then?

Martijn:
yes, just like that

ill post an update this weekend about it.

i like posting when a part is  completed

Ok, I will keep an eye out for it.

Seem like mixed reviews then on what needs to be ported here. Maybe it is a matter of if you want the sound to come from inside the cab or not on how it is vented? I think this is going to have to be one of those things that I will need to hear when I get it and then make adjustments... Just trying to plan ahead here a little.

Does it have to be used with a spinner or can you use it with a joystick or buttons?  i.e. hold down player 2 start and push up or down on a joystick or a button for volume up and one for volume down?

--- End quote ---
Yes, it can be used with a joystick or buttons.
