Alexis was born yesterday at 1:31 and weighed in at 7 lbs 4 oz.  Her younger sister Lauren was born 3 minutes later and weighed 7 lbs 5oz.  Both came out without a c-section, though Lauren was breach.  She came feet first and is doing fine.

My wife is a trooper and is doing well.  She gained 30 lbs during the pregnancy and 14.5 lbs of it were the twins.  Considering how much water came out when the second sack broke during the delivery in the operating room, she had at least a gallon in there.

I tried naming them Vader and Maul but got shot down.

Proud daddy!!!!  Cried like a baby after everyone was ok yesterday though.  Things happened pretty quickly and it was nerve wracking, for me at least.  Docs and nurses seemed to take it all in stride.

I need a drink though.   ;D

Um if these are females why did you suggest vader and maul?  Seriously you should have gone with Ventress, Talon or Zannah.

Had to pick names my wife would know and I suggested these before we knew they were girls.

Thanks.  We need a subsidy for diapers now, band-aids down the road a couple years.

I'd bet that if the twins had come as the first kids that they would have figured it out in a hurry (I know Mrs Cheffo did)!

Congrats Hoopz!
