'Pop' Cabinet Magnet for Coin Door?
<< < (2/3) > >>
RayB:
It's a neat idea, but coin doors are close to knee level and likely to get banged open by accident (more likely if sitting on a stool).

Yet again, something I didn't think of...which overall was a big intent of this thread.  Based on all the projects, one has to believe almost everything's been tried already! :)

Well, now I guess I just need to find someone that can provide me with a tube type key-lock ;).  Even if I figure out a way to do the magnet thing, I'll want a lock like that for looks.  (already checking with divemaster).
Ginsu Victim:
Ace hardware has the cam locks you need. Just don't attach the catch, or if you do, point it the other way so it doesn't lock. Also, Mike's Arcade, in the game parts / hardware section.

Not to mention when you hit the coin reject button it may trip the latch and open  :dunno
Necro:
Considering I want to make the coin return coin in buttons...yeah...this just got shot down definitively.

Mountain wins. :)

Thanks guys...
