| FrizzleFried:
Alright guys...with the Paperboy behind me I now I have to choose what to work on next. I have a Pole Position Upright that I am going to MAME and make a MAME driver. I already have the brake/gas assembly, 4-position shifter, and the interface PCBs to make them (and the wheel) communicate with a PC. What this project would entail is actually an upgrade for the horizontal MAME (Core2duo baby), then I'd take the horizontal MAME PC and drop it in the driver MAME.... Next I have a BEAT TO ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- Defender cabinet that's going to need a full sanding to wood, a new pain job, new stenciled side art, a multi-Williams board, monitor, etc. Basically it's a mess...a major mess...enough of a mess that I am questioning the sanity of taking on such a project. Finally, I have a bunch of little BS things to do....swap tubes for the VS cabinet, install the rest of the yoke kit on the SW, track down that one last switch issue on the Spy Hunter, etc. Maybe I should hold off on another project until I get all that little crap taken care of. Oh, and I have a line on a Battlezone, but the guy won't budge on price.... >argh< |

My vote is for the PP. I'm finishing up one myself, and it looks like its going to be a nice break from the joystick-norm for a while. |

I like the Pole Position driver MAME cabinet idea but I had to throw my vote towards the multi-MAME since, like my reason for voting for the Paperboy, I always wanted a multi-Williams. I dunno, I could go either way actually. |

I'd suggest taking your pick between the little stuff and the PP cab, unless the little things are keeping you from playing games on their respective cabs. Certainly if you pick the PP, I recommend doing the little stuff after. |

Do the driving cab. The Defender just sounds like work. And little stuff, who the heck wants to do that? :) |
