Anyone know a good place to get quick connect wire connectors

I bought all mine at home depot as well.  As u_rebelscum pointed out, the closest they come is #22-#18AWG for size. these you will find are reasonable close to the right size...some fit nice and snug, others you may need to squeeze with a pair of needle nose...but hey for less than $9.00 for a box of 100 fully shielded connectors (and not have to wait for them to be shipped)...I'll tweek a few.

Yeah, I used the bigger ones in my first cab, but I'm in less of a hurry for this one. Plus when you squeeze the bigger ones with a pliars, they fit tight but are harder to take off.

Actually a good trick for these is to use a crimper and crimp down the center "fin" on the top of the connector.  This way the connector slides on and off easy, but the crimped fin catches in the hole on the microswitch tab.  If that makes any sense... :)

I picked up mine at a local electrical / lighting store. They had the .187 ones. I got a huge box of 200 or something for less than $10. (All female ones.)

Word!

www.mcmelectronics.com has several sizes insulated and non-insulated.  Another guy and I bought 10 packs of 100 for $3.06 a pack I believe.  Fewer packs and the price goes up slightly.  They had a deal when we ordered to buy a certain dollar amount or over and get free shipping.

You'll want .187 for standard push buttons and joysticks.  Some use .250.  We got the insulated.
