Kimbo is the f'ing man!
Ginsu Victim:
Keep in mind how the original UFC was before it was regulated by the state athletic commission and when there were only a handful of rules.
Some memorable moments, sure, and entertaining in small doses, but it's much better now than how it started.
Xiaou2:
People who trained in and mastered Lethality were not going to sign up for such an
event even when it was mostly unregulated. Its called Ethics.
The money wasnt good either.
And then you also have the concept of the Value of Life. A smart fighter knows
that a lot can happen in a fight. One slip up, and your Life could end very early.
Not many people would gamble their lives for a few bucks. Life is Priceless...
and no amount of money can yet revive the deceased soul.
I can tell you one thing... Those fights are Boring as hell. I simply cant stand to
watch two guys rolling around on the ground touching each other for minutes at a
time.
They NEED to limit ground time to 15 sec max, or take it out completely. No tap out victories. If a person taps... they stand them back up and try again. No Ground Pound crap (show dominant position, hit twice max, and they stand you back up)
Ginsu Victim:
Wow....what you've suggested sounds even more boring.
I love to see good ground work AND ground 'n' pound. (Though excellent stand-up is still the best)
Singapura:
I had to look up who this guy is because I'm not much into MMA. It seems to me that someone who names his first two sons after himself and the third one "Kevlar" possesses less brain than Mohammed Ali currently has  Looks scary though...
Xiaou2:
Umm, how is watching someone sitting on another person who is nearly
defenseless getting punched entertaining?! It certainly takes Zero skill... and
is a cowardly way to win a battle.
Ground work is 1000 times more boring than a standup fight. Ill watch Boxing any
day of the week over some snorefest MMA event. (though kickboxing would be more
preferred... Its rare to see it when flipping channels)
