HELP 1st MAME cab Q's: resolution, high scores, etc
« on: October 19, 2008, 02:01:15 pm »
A big THANKS to everyone helping me get setup, now running Maximus Arcade & Mame .126 on an MVS candy cab via lenovo dual core 2 Gigs RAM via Radeon card & soft15mhz, working GREAT, experimenting with settings.

Questions

Resolution - for each individual game?  EVERYTHING is great except 'polygon line' games (vector?) like Tempest, Asteroids, Star Castle, Star Wars, etc.  I assume its a resolution issue?  How do I get these games displaying properly?

High Score: been a LONG time since I messed with MAME, and didnt realize high score support had been suspended so long ago.  Whats the best fix here?  Running another MAME version?  I am only a high score stickler for the classics, so worst case scenarion I can boot up my old MAME32 for high scorage.

Future Spy - no sound!  Do I need a sample?  Cant seem to find it.  love this old game.

THANKS everybody

Lee
