im standing by my claim of missile command. :D
thats pretty mad looking , the screen looks like a big version of the table top type of games around at the time

RayB:
Screen? What screen? It's a MECHANICAL GAME! Wow, in 1984 too... No wonder this thing is rare. What a throw-back!

no need to shout, i dont really give a ---fudgesicle--- either way, i was just saying the bit you aim at 'the screen' lets call it looks like a screen from the old lcd games you could buy, with 'pixels' lighting up in sequence to give the impression of movement, pretty much like this one works from the looks of it.

abzman2000 gets the mighty marvel no-prize!  Arcadeflyers.com is where I got my first glimpse of it.   It was a tricky question because of the EM factor.
Thanks for playing along!

So the next question would be what do you suggest I do with the other side which has really rough art?  See Pics.   Peel/paint it?  Then what?  Or try to restore it?  I'm not much of an artist for sure!  Suggestions?
Maybe paint a big black explosion hole towards the top edge, as if the machine had been blasted, just enough to cover the missing part of the sticker?

Another issue I see is the height of the deck where the CP will go.  Being a gun game it's set up a bit taller than the usual CP.  I'd hate to cut the front down and ruin that art.

This thing is a beast, 36" deep back to front at the CP!

After having taken a break, I'm almost as excited about getting this project going as I was about the first one from 2004!  But you probably can't relate.......

ARCADIAC!
