Ginsu Victim:

Happ sells a coin door that is non-functioning. It's just there for looks.

SithMaster:

You could just get a complete door and not wire it up.  What kind are you looking for?

A coin door is a drop in the bucket compared to the overall cost.  If you want one, get one - you will be happier in the long run.  The Small Single Coin Door is about $65 if I remember correctly and it's great for a home made cab or MAME job.

ebay it. You can get one for cheap and if it is in decent condition touch up paint will run less than ten dollars. In total my over-under cost me about $35 and has all metal coin mechs
