| Where to find a big 4:3 LCD |

Hey. Guess what I found at a local resort. Not great photos, but the lighting was dim in the corridor where this was, and I was using my phone. This baby was at least 30 inches diagonal. ....I dunno...then again, going by the size of the handsets below, maybe this was about 50 inches. |

Interesting, but without any model number/manufacturer/etc., this serves as little more than a "don't give up cause it's out there". It is encouraging, but not much else. :dunno |

They probably paid tons of money for that. I called a company last year that makes custom LCD's and for like a 24" 4:3 he told me it would cost me at least $2,400. :o |

Ahhh, yeah, I didn't really think about that. Probably because it was kinda dark in there, and I had my mind on some other things. But you could always canvas the local resorts, casinos, etc and see what they got, where from, and whether they're surplusing anything. |
