Where to find a big 4:3 LCD

Honestly, if I could fit a decent size widescreen into my cab, going that route might be worthwhile. As it is, I don't think it's possible...although the potential for the LCD dying eventually and me not being able to replace it (even a 19" or 20" 4:3) is worrisome.
I'm retrofitting an older cab, so I only have 24" of internal space to work with, best case....(just checked dimensions of a 24" monitor, and they seem to come in a tad under 24 even with bezel, at around 22 3/4" wide).
Did some quick calculations, and if I'm right, it seems that these should be the dimensions.
24in 16:10 - 12.7 x 20.35
22in 16:10 - 11.65 x 18.65
20in 4:3 - 12 x 16
19in 5:4 - 11.84 x 14.8
19in 4:3 - 11.4 x 15.2 (don't exist as far as I can find).
So. With a 22 inch WS monitor, your basically losing height over both the 19" and the 20" monitors that are actually available, though it should be under half an inch. For that, you'd basically have a setup (mounting, etc.) that could easily have the monitor swapped out in the case of a failure or problem. With a 24" monitor (which some are available for cheaper than a 20" 4:3's are now....), you'd beat out both the 19 and the 20 'standard' res monitors. Interesting.
I have some hard thinking to do about what I'm going to use in my cab now...and possibly may bring my desktop 22" monitor down to the cab to see how it looks reflected in the cabs mirror...

A 25.5" 16:10 LCD monitor should come in right at or under 24" wide. The Samsung I am planning on using is 23.54" wide. Here's a link.

When I did the computations, this monitor would be the equivalent of around a 23" 4:3 monitor. Not bad IMO.

I want the MAME team to go dual-game-mode!
So that we can incorporate 16:10 displays, and play 2 vertical 1 person classics side by side, or the 2-player landscape games with black bars on the left/right on cabinets with a dual-player control panel. That way 16:10 would give clear benefits.

The screen size will actually be 21.62" wide, 13.5" high. Overall monitor size would prob. be around there I would think.
Also, if you haven't ordered yet, I would really think twice about TigerDirect. Check out their reseller ratings and all...the company has a very bad reputation.
Now, time to decide if a 16ms LCD is reasonable for MAME or not.

Yep, not using Tiger Direct. I was just using the link to show the model of monitor.
I was using the width measurement that included the case. I'm not planning on de-casing mine. If you decide to de-case, you may be able to get a bigger LCD monitor. I wonder what the measurements of a 28" 16:10 LCD monitor would be without the case.

Is this something recent with Tiger? I've ordered from them a lot in the past and was getting ready to order a few things. I never had a problem with them, but it has been a little over a year since my last order... lots can change in a year I guess.
