Where to find a big 4:3 LCD
<< < (7/15) > >>
Blanka:
Did anybody ask Billabs yet?
Stiletto:
I haven't, but I'm thinking of contacting Billabs on Monday - to confirm my suspicion that you all misunderstood their clear-as-mud message.

First off, their model numbers generally start with "BL", then the display size in inches, and then "L" for LCD or "C" for CRT. You'll notice that "BL26C0T" has a C as the 5th letter.

Secondly, I've never heard of any LCD panel manufacturer making anything larger than 21/21.3/21.6" panels. I doubt it will ever happen.

Finally, there's nothing to stop them from selling a 26" widescreen LCD to install in your Golden Tee's, etc. Sure it would be weird, but maybe they're counting on the display to "pillarbox" the signal, or distort it to fit.

Of course, I would be happy to be proven wrong.

PS. Hey gang.

I don't get that middle part. You mean PC-type?...whereas a '26" widescreen' is a TV?
