I've got onboard sound (again cheapest i can get, lol) and i wanted to plug in other speakers to it... i tried it and they don't work, am i forgetting to do something? I assume other speakers can be used since it has a place for them to be plugged in? |

What OS? what application? what mobo? did you load the drivers? is the volume up via the volume applet? is it mute checked? Did you stick the jack in the right hole? (heheheh) Are you using "Active" speakers that need DC power to work/be on? Rampy |

This might be really dumb but do your speakers have built in amps? You didn't say. Coz if they don't I guess they won't work. |
