I've had a separate powered usb hub in my cabinet for years to handle the inputs from the control panel. Recently, I decided to purchase a usb expander that plugs into the header on the mobo and fits in one of the rear slots. After I installed the unit and connected everything back up, I found that the trackball wouldn't work. All buttong, joys and the spinner worked as they did before but no trackball. Anyone have an idea as to why? The usb unit I installed is powered via 5V. |

Im taking it that you are using windows.. Did you check device manager, to make sure there is not a conflict? You may have to go online and download latest usb drivers from Microsoft. |

Or try moving it to a different USB port in case something happened to the one you are using. |

If you mean moving the trakball to a different usb port, tried that also. No go. --- Quote from: DaOld Man on September 11, 2008, 04:13:47 pm ---Im taking it that you are using windows.. I'll check the device manager and do some driver research. Thanks! |

Take the new thing back out and see if it all goes back to normal... |
