WAFFLES VS. PANCAKES!

You must not be 'frying' your pancakes in bacon fat & butter, then.   ;D

I dont know about the bacon fat but butter is a must and it must be about to burn so you get that incredible ridge of crispyness that forms on the outside of the top of your cake. then it is pancakes  all the way man also it depends on if additives have been added to the batter or said waffle or pancake batter. as I mentioned in another thread pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin added to the batter makes it all good.

You're still left with a soggy piece of bread though! Waffles are the way to go! I believe that waffles are the perfect food. They can be savory, sweet and they're good for teething kids...perfect!

Like, you know from experience?  And, butter-soaked pancakes aren't soggy. Soggy means wet. Like water, yo.
