Nah... even if Young goes further off the deep end they still have Kerry Collins.  He's better than Simms.

EDIT:  interesting... Wikipedia says he signed with the Titans but the NFL does not list it in the transactions log.  Can we say agent trying to make the Patriots make a move?

I heard it on ESPN last night, before even looking at Wiki, so there could be more to this.

ChadTower:

Wonder why the transactions log is so unreliable this year.

Just got this in an info service email:

--- Quote ---Vince Young - QB, Tennessee Titans

Updating a previous report, ESPN.com reports that the MRI on Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young's left
knee revealed a sprained medial collateral ligament. The team is not giving him a timetable to
return, but quarterbacks can return in two to four weeks. Minnesota Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson
returned from a MCL tear in two weeks earlier this year.

Kerry Collins will step into the starting role, which means Tennessee receivers
can reclaim at least some measure of fantasy relevancy. The Titans also signed Chris Simms as
insurance. Young has battled a variety of injuries during his brief NFL career, playing through
several, so his time frame for return could certainly fall on the short end of the two- to four-week
spectrum. However, it sounds as if Young has some issues beyond the knee to deal with as well.
