wire op1 to whatever interface you are using for the pc,i.e if its a an i-pac then to coin 1
Marky_1979:
Thanks Grant that makes sense, how do I configure the klingson board to know which coin is being put into slot? Also does anyone know if the 12v will go through my encoder?
Marky_1979:
Really worried I might fry or damage my encoder with the 12v can any advise me about this?
G1zm0:
you may have needed a 5v zener diode, i used one on my system for the pulse the coin sends to my jpac was 12v, amd jpac only handles 5v
Marky_1979:
Im not sure if my encoder can handle any kind of voltage its a Hagstrom ke72-t encoder cost me best part of £130 when I bought a few years back before I found out there were cheaper options dont really wanna damage it.
