the klingon holds the credit line at 5 volts,when a coin is inserted or the service switch pressed the credit board then grounds the 5volt coin signal-just like on a standard video setup

So the signal is 5v excellent so I shouldnt have any problems. Grant did you see my set up illustration? is this how I should set it up? and could you also explain if the coin board has a preset credit system namely £1 = 3 credits or 3 pressed of the no 5 button

if you mean did i see your wiring diagram to connect the klingon then yes and it is correct,
the credit board can be set to a multitude of settings,the service switch will always give 1 credit when pressed
what coin mech are you using with this,is it the c220?

Im not sure to be honest it was off an old golden tee machine.

golden tee u.k built will be a coin controls c220b mech with a klingon credit board.

switch settings here,set your mame to 1 coin 1 credit and use the credit board to get your price of play i.e 3 credits for £1 is switches 3 and 4 on
