Help a school out
rlehm:
My friend works as a school teacher. He teaches computer literature. He really needs computer parts to show the students. Like when he discusses RAM, it would be cool if he had RAM to show them. If you have an old power supply, RAM, CPU, Motherboard, any broken old trashy computer part that you want to part with please PM me.
Ginsu Victim:
"This, children, is what we call an ISA card. Can you say ISA?"
"Ok, now if we press the TURBO button, you'll see the yellow numbers change from 33 to 66"

Most cities make people recycle their computers now rather than throw them in with the regular trash. Find where your town takes their recycled computers and either buy them super cheap or take them free. My town is very small but usually their highway depot has 15 or so old machines waiting to be picked up by whoever eventually takes them. The guy who runs the depot lets people take them so long as they take the whole thing and do not open them up on site.
