I-Pac problem with MAME

Pete Rittwage:

Actually, this turns out to be a MAME problem, not iPac or the config.

For sure, if you play MK2r14, and press any button you map as P2 button 6 in MAME, it crashes.  Other revisions of MK2 don't do that, nor does MK1 and MK3.

Weird- I'll post it on the MAME bug list.

I'll get on the machine tonight and see if I can make it happen reliably.  It's also possible that it's a combination of P1 and P2 controls causing it, but we're definately not pressing the P1 or P2 buttons when it happens.

Sorry, I read your initial post and misunderstood it.

What version of Mame are you running?

Jack Burton:

Yes, I will also add that this happens to me while no one is pushing P1 or P2 start.

Also it happens in Super Street Fighter, so the sixth button thing can't be the cause either.

As for Ctrl and alt being mapped, I will remap my buttons with the I-pac configuration tool and see if that solves the problem.
