You think I'm some other guy because I started out a sentence badly? You may need some help due to you being here way too long and are starting to get paranoid. |

Some might even go so far as to try to make others think they could never do anything like this while posting on a message board. The fact is you're only kidding yourself trying to act as if you would not get fed-up with a problem that would not seem to end, and if this was the only way to make the situation right, then so be it. I did say send a letter explaining the problem and wait and see if anything changes, and if not... --- End quote --- Sounds like a cowardly way to deal with the situation to me. At least have the balls to confront the guy. But whatever. People deal with crap their own way. Some folks have learned personal responsibility from their parents, others haven't. I don't blame you... --- End quote --- ok I have to say something about this then I will go back and read the rest!! bb gun and pellets??? sorry but if you plan on busting through the window and then the surafe of a plasma screen you need to use the bb gun with what it was meant a BB as it is usually a hard metal like steel in copper coating and pellets are soft lead like substances and just flatten out. bb's vs soft stretchy stuff =bb loosing pellets to shoot some one but BB's for shooting out hard plastic glass what not's. ok I am going back to read the rest of this very interesting thread (by the way I would try and let everyone know what kind of a ---meecrob--- that guy is so no one else gets taken by him in some other way.) |

There are basements in NY, one think that makes me happy. --- End quote --- I think an even bigger reason we don't have basements is that we don't need basements. You'll find that there are also no basements in Phoenix, AZ. I think it has to do with foundations needing to be set below the frost line. Since it never freezes, home builders don't go to the expense of building a basement. Of course, the water table thing very well may make it so that even if you did want a basement in South Florida it would be out of the question. But I think you probably have a basement in NY because you need one, more than because you can have one. |

That's also why really old houses have basements that clearly were never meant to be used for much. Go into a 150 year old house up here and you'll see why. It's basically a hole walled up with rocks and mud with a mud floor. Not even usable as storage. |

My house is built into a slope in a way that from the street, it is a single story. From the back, it is 2-story. I have ground level access to both floors. Moving games into the basement is as simple as wheeling them into the garage. ;D And no, my basement does not stink. If your basement stinks, then you need to take a shower once in a while and take out the trash too. |
