i've recently purchased an ActLabs Force RS racing wheel, and I'm trying to put together a list of the best force feedback compatible PC racers... the only racing game i own is Viper Racing...and it's not too hot (the feedback is barely noticable) just wondered if anyone has played/owns any force feedback racers and what they think of them (think i'm gonna get NFS3 and NFS4) :P |
| CGRemakes:
I own that same racing system, and it came with NFS3, and I later purchased NFS4. I think it feels great, definately adds realism to the game. I've heard the NFS series has some of the better force-feedback effects. I personally like more of the arcade type racing games, (Cruisn' USA, Sega Rally, etc) but unfortunately there aren't many of them available for PC. They are all Nascar type racers, and I just don't get into them as much. |

Beetle Crazy Cup. Its a fun game and I saw a website that said it supported force feedback. Its an older game, at least 2 years. I heard Carmaggedon is fun, but I don't know if it supports force feedback. |
| SNAAAKE:
Sega rally is pretty good(I like). Nascar thunder 2003 is pretty good too(very realistic). Daytona usa is just AWSOME ! :o Not sure if there is a PC version....umm :P (your favorite smily :P :P :P) |

Need for Speed 5: Porsche Unlimited is a fantastic game with great force feedback effects. Driver has force feedback. Rallisport Challenge and the Colin McRae series (number 3 was just released) are great and both feature good force feedback. I think pretty much every PC racer supports it nowdays, and have for at least the last couple years, but the above games give you an idea of a few games that both support it and are very good games regardless of tactile feedback. |
