Here's my CP Template (PDF, PNG, and SVG formats) - it's for the Project Arcade from Saint's book.  Use anyway you like...

The joysticks templates are for Ultrastik 360s and the 3" trackball is standard Happ template.  Probably doesn't need to be stated, but the dark gray rectangle is centered and sized for the box underneath the CP - all dimensions match Project Arcade blueprints from the CD.

Here is a link to my CP. It also includes a Marquee, Kickplate and Speaker Artwork.

http://www.mediafire.com/?wbmbgzmeimh

You can check out my Artwork at

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=81023.0

I have also attached a pic of the CP. The top centre section is the admin part. The centre button hole is for a TT2 spinner. The left and right top sections are for P1/2 Coin 1/2 and the left and right mouse buttons (left button on left, right button on right).

Hope it helps!

Can't take the credit - Knievel sent me an image of one of his CPs a while back and he had the left/right mouse buttons located like that... I thought it was a great idea and used it.  With the trackball, I've got a functional mouse now :)

Also, the PDFs I uploaded are actual size - take them to any printer and they'll print out to scale.

I can if anyone really wants it. I'm gonna take the Street Fighter and capcom logos off of it though. You can find those anywhere.

Lemme organize the file and clean it up some. Keep in mind this was for my Lindberg cab....so the measurements may need to be adjusted depending on what you want/need.

Here's a little thing I did for my test rig.  Modeled after a Jungle Hunt cp.  Nothing fancy as my design skills aren't great, but I was happy with it.

First control panel for my WIP showcase cab:
Artwork:

Finished panel:

The cab will have modular CPs, second CP will have a trackball and spinners, and 3rd CP will contain a touchscreen monitor for jukebox controls.
Here's the build gallery if anyone is interested: http://www.betteridiots.com/?level=album&id=5

EDIT: Link change. Had an issue with the gallery and had to rebuild it from scratch.

Yes, I'm going to make everything available (plans, artwork, build cost spreadsheet etc) when I'm done with it. I have the plans already "done" but I'm having to revise some measurements and stuff as I go along because of on-the-fly changes and material changes. If you're just talking about the artwork, I can put up a zip file with the PSD's later this afternoon or tomorrow. There is one thing to consider though, this cab will be absolutely huge (7'8" tall) so if you don't have 8' ceilings, you'll have to forego the marquee box or use a smaller TV (mine is a 50")

Yeah, I saw your page! That showcase looks sweet! I can imagine playing Metal slug on that bad boy!

Well done for making everything available! :applaud:

If you could make it available then that would be great! If you want to wait until you have it all finalised then that will be cool too!

Thanks again!

Well, I plan on making different parts of the plans available as I finish up different parts of the cab. I haven't done any woodworking in several years, and designed the cab in cad program, and already some of my measurements were off. I designed a full frame for the back part of the cab because it's going to be supporting a 50" plasma on a wall mount, and in my haste, I actually used 2" x 2" for the 2x2 framework, when 2x2's are actually 1.75" x 1.75", so there's some revision that needs to be done there :)

Anyway, here's the artwork. It's got the first CP overlay, Marquee and Side Panel artwork. The zip is 110MB, and the files are layered PSD's:
http://www.betteridiots.com/artwork.zip

Some notes on the CP:
The buttons are VERY close together, in some instances, I had to trim some of the plastic retaining nut to get neighboring buttons to fit. This is mainly because I hand drilled the holes (no drill press). Also, buttons 5,6,7 and 8 are kinda worthless for players 3 and 4. I added them mainly for aesthetics and because I'm playing around with the idea of using 2 computers in the machine, since the TV supports split screen (though I haven't quite figured this out yet), and it would be cool to have 2 two player games going on the same monitor at the same time :)

Artwork for my [Neomi] project.

CP/Instruction card space graphics:

Marquee:

The graphics were designed for me by my good buddy aryssoR over at arcadeotaku.com. He said he didn't mind me posting them as long as I credited him and posted his email address which is rossyrara(at)googlemail.com

I have attached a RGB and CMYK .eps of the CP graphics and an .eps of the marquee.

Gatsu,

I wanted to personally thank you for your post of the cabinet-control-art-clean.psd.
I am putting it to good use and it has really helped me out being a complete newcomer to Photoshop and artwork in general.
Your layout has saved me a ton of time!

Next time your here in the forum, please PM me if you could.
I have a 24" wide-print printer (using for my own art, posters, etc..), and would like to offer you a free poster up to 24"x36".
I print on photo-quality paper. Not archive stuff but looks really nice and lasts plenty long enough indoors.

Just wanted to return the "favor" for your hard work that's helped others of us starting out!

Thanks Again,
John.

Is there any CAD (DXF or DWG) files for this build?
